As you stroll through Ridgewood, you will inevitably notice these unique faux woodgrained doors, with their striking beige and brown colors. Some are brand new and glossy, while others are old and in need of care.
One local Craftsman, Ferdinand Tschinkel, has grained many of these doors, and in recent times, it appears he is the only one left offering this craft to paying customers.
